Description
I studied design and teaching and was a technology and design teacher for 9 years while also running sports and student leadership programs at a high performing school of 3500 students before quitting that to travel the world. I am from a big family (eldest of 4) and love working with people, outdoor adventures (running, camping, hiking, snowboarding) being creative (baking, drawing, sewing, crocheting) and learning about the world through different experiences with a particular interest in social justice and sustainability. I really love getting my hands dirty, feeling part of a community to contribute to something and challenging myself so can’t wait for the opportunities through Work Away.

I love to be outdoors, meeting new people, having a laugh and learning about different ways of life. I love running and hiking and snowboarding, surfing and have played football for 20+ years, coaching for 7+ years. But I also love to chill by drawing, crocheting or watching movies and baking.
