Hi I'm Manon [ manɔ̃ ]!
A French workawayer from the beautiful region of Elsass.
I've been wanting to travel for as long as I can remember and was charmed by Workaway as it just embodies what I'm looking for in travelling! For me travelling is about self-discovery and personal development and that means going out of my comfort zone and my familiar environment. Meeting new people, different ways of living, learning and sharing new skills, languages, cultures, food, being solo yet not feel alone is what I'm looking for ☺️
Here are a few things about me :
I'm naturally very curious and always eager to learn some new skills, random or not so random knowledge especially from passionate people and create new memories.
I love spontaneity, I can be a social butterfly but oftentimes need alone time to recharge, I am empathetic, I value open communication (which I find especially important when sharing spaces), I am very fond of animals, I speak English half of the time mainly because it makes me happy.

I love cooking (and eating of course) it's one of my favourite activities, especially if it's for loved ones and I actually have a degree in hospitality and catering ☺️
I have a C1-level in English and tend to seize every opportunity to practise and learn, I've taught English to 2 kids for a couple of months in the past and would love to do it again or even with adults!
I used to help someone who runs a boarding facility for cats from time to time so just like with any other animal that means cleaning, changing litters, feeding, playing, some administrative tasks, etc.
Other than that I like creative crafts, DIY and love to paint and sing.
