Hi everyone !
My name is Lisa. I am a french girl who aspires to discover the world, new cultures and ways of life. I just graduated as an engineer in the field of agronomy and agri-food. I chose to specialise more specifically in nutrition and health. Before starting a job, I take several months to travel and meet people. I think that meetings and exchanges are the greatest wealth we have.

I am a great animal lover. I really enjoy spending time and looking after them. I also have experience with horses, having ridden for several years. Animals have always been my greatest motivation in life and what I love most.
I also enjoy sports in general (horse riding, running, hiking, cycling, gymnastics, tennis...) and like to try new ones.

For some years now, I have been on a personal development journey. This is why I am particularly interested in everything related to meditation, (self) healing, therapy, energies, etc. I am very open and like to learn more about these subjects in general !

I also see these trips as an opportunity to improve my language skills (English mainly, Spanish secondarily). I would be happy to teach French in return.

I travel to meet different people and cultures, discover the beautiful corners of our planet and get out of my comfort zone!
I would be delighted to share an experience with those who recognize themselves through my words. :)

Nous parlons souvent de Lisa depuis son départ. Elle est même devenue notre référence sur le sujet de la communication animale ! Sa présence a été un vrai plaisir pour nous . Et comme les animaux sont au centre de notre vie, la sensibilité de Lisa était parfaitement adaptée . Donc que des bonnes notes, aucune fausse note !

Lisa a passé un mois chez nous et c’était fantastique. Elle faisait parfaitement toutes les tâches qu’on lui avait confié, est devenue une grande amie de nos chiens et chats et avait un grand intérêt pour mon travail thérapeutique. On a bien mangé et s’est bien amusé pendant ce mois.

How to start… I spend two amazing weeks with Veronica and Max in Italy. That was my first workaway experience and it could not have started in a better way. Consequently, I have so much to say.

First of all, Veronica and Max are so inspiring and awesome people. They are ambitious, cultivated, strong-willed and open-minded. They are able to take a… read more thoughtful look at situations and they are involved in the well-being of those around them.
I felt very welcomed and appreciated the attention they paid to make me feel comfortable. They live in a beautiful house, surrounded by mountains and breathtaking views. They have made their home a high-vibrational place for sure.
Veronica is a very good cook. She prepared delicious vegan meals. She also gave me the opportunity to learn more about vegan food and to experience every day on my plate the varied flavours and all the benefits to the body that this diet offers. I am glad to have some new recipes to try now at home ! Thank you Veronica for your kindness, open mind and help in all aspects.
The sport was also part of our daily routine, much to my delight ! I had the chance to try new sports like new workout exercises, mountain biking and… tennis ! It was my first time holding a tennis racket. Max took the time to explain to me how to play in a professional way. He is a truly good teacher. His advice allowed me to improve quickly so that I could exchange a few balls with him. I don’t forget to mention our morning runs, even in rainy and windy weather. One of the things I liked most is the state of mind they have of surpassing themselves and doing always better. I felt more energized than ever and ready to achieve anything. I already had dreams bigger than me when I arrived, but Veronica and Max made them becoming stronger, nurturing the idea that anything is possible.
We had so many inspiring discussions about various topics. They are interested in many subjects, you can discuss everything in an intellectual and deep way. Our exchanges have contributed to opening my mind, sometimes looking differently for the best and increasing my aims in life. They also have been very patient and helpful with my English. They helped me to improve and kindly encouraged me to get better in this field as in many others.
I bring up work as the last point because it doesn't feel like work when you are in a good environment. For example, I helped to make a bamboo fence in the garden. I also helped with different aspects of their online business, house cleaning, and cooking sometimes. They care about varying the tasks in a way that you always enjoy what you are doing.
I also would like to add that Veronica and Max took care to give me a complete experience by showing me the culture of the country and the surrounding places.

I have been able to experience a way of life I was not used to in several aspects (waking up around 5 am, having a vegan diet, sports days, entrepreneurship, and a high state of mind). It has been a truly rewarding experience that had a lot of benefits for me during my stay, and also afterward. I feel truly grateful they gave me the opportunity to join them and be part of their life for a while. Veronica and Max, many thanks once again.
