Hello!

Ellina and Jard here :)

We are traveling to Australia starting September 2024. We originally live in Amsterdam with our oversized cat Boo, who is living with Jard's cousin while we are traveling.
As young adults we started working a couple of years ago. Ellina works with website analytics and is very handy with technology. Jard is a geography teacher and environmental official for a small municipality in the Netherlands.

Last year we traveled with a van through New Zealand, which was great and freeing. The nature was beautiful and we are excited to explore Aussie nature and history.
We both enjoy being outdoors. We are very handy people that can fix and build anything in the house. Ellina is a bit more of a handywoman compared to Jard, but he's getting there.
We are very easy-going and joyful people that make for a great company. We both like cooking and working with plants. We also really like animals and cannot pass by a goat without petting it.

We look forward to work at your stay and experience the Australian lifestyle.

What else ...

Besides enjoying the outdoors and the adventure that we are going to have, we have plenty of hobbies and interests.

Together we enjoy life in different ways. Some days we feel more extravagant than others. We have been learning to dance salsa for half a year now. We enjoy walks throughout the Amsterdam parks and nature around town. Sometimes we take the longboard with us to cruise around town. Indoors we like playing boardgames or play on the Nintendo Switch. And of course there is room for a drink, wines or craft beers, and a nice cheese platter.

Ellina enjoys reading non-fictional books about psychology and biology. She has an interest for sciences and is keen on learning more about the world.
Jard is more interested in geography and watches and creates videos about this topic. He plays videogames, goes out with friends in town, and plays Dungeons and Dragons. If motivated Jard is interested in reading books, but this happens rarely.

Obviously there is much more that we enjoy, but this is a short summary of some of the things we enjoy doing. We look forward to enjoy doing some of these activities with you and other guests.
