Nice to meet you, I'm Elina!

I'm on a gap year right now and want to spend it as well as possible, and for me that means gathering many new experiences.

That is what motivates me in my life at the moment and the best way to get the adventures I need is by travelling. Meeting new people, hearing different lifestories, getting to know all different kinds of personalities and their interests and seeing different views is what drives me forward. Even small encounters can matter.

I would describe myself an adventurous person. I will never say no to an experience, even if it is a bit out of my comfortzone. All those experiences are stories to tell. I also love taking photos of people and landscapes, to capture even the small moments.

I have volunteered before and they were one of the most unique experiences of my life. I hope I will get many new ones.

I graduated Finnish High school this spring and now I'm trying to get to know myself better to see what I want to study in the future.

I worked over a year at a gas station along with school and then after that two summers as a cashier at a local supermarket. I have experience with clients and customer service jobs.

This summer I volunteered at a music festival workcamp in Belgium, where me and other young people from all over the world helped to set up the festival. We mainly cleaned up places and did maintenance work, but i really liked it.

This autumn I worked at my godfather's potato farm for a month and volunteered through workaway on a farm in Germany.
So I have all kinds of experiences, even from agriculture :D

Right now I'm working at a laundry place!

I'm up to basically any type of work and new skills.
I would describe myself as a fast learner :)

What else ...

I am an active person and love all types of sports and exercise! Everything from hiking to volleyball goes. I have had many hobbies in my life, active and creative ones.

I also absolutely love taking and having photos of everything. I think there are so many moments that need to be captured. Especially photos where people are happy and laughing are so wholesome
