Hello everyone :)
I am currently doing my Masters degree in Düsseldorf in Japanese Studies. I love learning languages, animals, nature etc. I like music and singing with friends. I am also a yoga teacher and love yoga (currently especially yin yoga).

I couchsurfed in Japan for one month and did a workaway on an organic farm, and I loved both experiences! So I want to travel even more using those kind of opportunities. I met so many amazing people and learned a lot through it. I recently won a ticket to Japan so I want to spend it to get to know some places I have not been to yet using the same method.


It makes me happy if the people around me are happy and live in peace :)

I have often got the feedback that I am able to pick up most skills extraordinarily fast, so I am a quick learner that will also always make sure to complete tasks correctly and reliably.

I can speak the languages of the countries I want to travel: I have passed the JLPT N1 and also the TOPIK Level 5 already some years ago (I have gotten even better since). All of this I teached myself which shows you my great determination and discipline once I set a goal for myself.

In terms of academical skills, I finished my Bachelor in Japanese Studies and Sociology this year. My English profited from this, and I work as a translator from Japanese to English sometimes. It is my goal to be able to do Korean as well some day.

In terms of practical skills that could be helpful for hosts on here: I think that I have still a lot to learn, but something I will always able to do is produce yummy meals out of my head with any ingredients available. I love cooking for others, and I have cooked and baked a lot for my family for example. Besides that, I have some experience as a Babysitter, and as a more random thing, I will have finished my training as a yoga teacher by the time I will start traveling next year, and would love nothing more than being able to apply my newly acquired knowledge on my travel with people who would like to join.

On the human side, I am an open person that likes meeting new people and can easily communicate also with strangers. (In my hometown f.e. I founded a singing circle that I am leading.) I will always be open for criticism and more than anything else, want to have a good time with everyond around me :)
