hello! My name is Edu and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Chile, but I moved in to Norway when I was twelve. Although I have settled with my family in Norway, I have been constantly returning to Latin America for relatively long periods of time. I have been lucky to have traveled through many countries in Latin America and Europe, while also being able to live and share with local people. I have just finished my sociology studies at the university, and I have come to the conclusion that although I have learned a lot in university, where I have truly learned more about the important things in life is by traveling and getting to know the reality of people.
That's why I see Work-Away as a beautiful opportunity to travel and learn more. Also with Work-Away I see the possibility of being able to travel for long periods and for a reasonable price for me.

I have different knowledge and specializations in a wide range of things:
- in different languages (Spanish, English, Norwegian)
- theories of human sciences (sociological, psychological and philosophical theories)
- work with children (create and carry out activities and learning models)
- music (I can play guitar and percussion, but almost no music theory)
- knowledge in permaculture (intesive food produccion in the city, mud construction, ecosystem analysis for design)
- knowledge of edible and medicinal plants.

I really like sports! I played football for a short period at a high level but due to injuries I did not continue. Now I do sports that are less demanding on the knees, but I still have the magic in my feet, but is hidden :)
