Hello!

My name is Emily and I'm from the south of England. I'm slowly travelling around the world and looking to take part in some amazing projects on the way 🌍

In the last couple of years I have been living abroad and travelling around parts of Europe, and most recently have been living in Wales. I've taken a massive interest in growing foods and exploring new cultures, and would love to take these further! I really value understanding the places and people around me, and feel confident that I could quickly adapt to any new team. I'm a very calm and patient person, and would love for us to share and combine our experiences ✨

I have recently been working in carbon footprinting and have a passion for sustainable development and supporting local communities. I'm particularly interested in sustainable tourism and permaculture, and would love to get more experience in these areas - my dream is to have some land myself, so right now I'm looking for practice! I've volunteered at a few Workaways and other volunteer projects already, and taken away a range of practical skills, including garden/farm work, guest house work, refugee support, preserving foods and carpentry. I love to get stuck into jobs and learning new skills, so I'm happy to lend a hand in any project you have 🌻
