Hi Hosts and fellow Workawayers,
Here in a nutshell is how I see myself: I'm a mature, responsible person, who loves traveling and engaging with people from different cultures and countries. I traveled quite a bit and lived on three continents. I love nature, I enjoy hiking, walking and riding a bicycle.
I'm a professional visual artist - I paint, draw and work with ceramics. I'm an art teacher and a children's book illustrator. I'm a good photographer and like writing stories. I like cooking and have some experience with power tools and light construction work. I enjoy learning new things and staying open to anything that life puts in my path.
I don't smoke, drink or use any recreational drugs. I have a quiet nature, but I very much enjoy company of others, especially if it's through sharing of experience and knowledge in a fun and creative way.
The last year and half I've been living on Kauai Island, HI and work as a gardener and landscaper on a permaculture organic farm. I'm familiar with permaculture farming and processing fruits and veggies like bananas, avocados, papayas, cassava and taro.
I'm bilingual (English and Polish languages) and I'm citizen of both Poland and the USA.

I'm a professional artist and an art teacher, so I have an experience in teaching art to children and adults. By occupation I write and illustrate children books. I'm also passionate about ceramics and prefer to live in a place with a pottery studio nearby. For the last year and half I've been living on an organic farm on Kauai island, HI, so I also gained a lot of experience in plant care and fruit tree care as well as permaculture. I love gardening and sustainability approach. I'm a good cook and familiar with many worldly cuisines as I lived in number of different countries. I speak English, Polish and some Russian and now I've been learning Spanish and Italian. I'd be happy to help with any activities around the house, house-sit, dog/cat-sit, cook, help with a garden, teach children, help with computer skills on intermediate level, drive around and do errands (I can drive manual transmission cars in both right and left-hand traffic).
