Hi
I am Jo, 58 and mother of 3 young adults who have all developed a love of travel , like me. I have worked long hours as a Doctor for many years and am looking for a simpler life in tune with nature and the environment. I love making things and learning new practical skills. I am trying to find more time for my hobbies of Pottery, woodwork and gardening. Used to animal care of horses, chickens, dogs etc. I love to cook - particularly plant based wholesome meals. I love meeting new people of all ages. Am very interested in how people are building their lives and homes in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. Have always loved travel but prefer to really experience how others are living in different communities.

Hi - my training and background is in horticulture. Worked for the National Trust and large private estate in both amenity and kitchen gardens; sometimes certified organic. I am proficient with all powered equipment, tractors and the like. I have fully refurbished several houses of my own and helped my father build his home a few years ago. Am currently planning to build my own place near the sea. I can turn my hand to most things - walling, fencing, joinery, electrics, plumbing. I also enjoy cooking and will have a go at anything creative
We are currently limited in time due to work commitments sadly but very keen :)
