Description
My name is Davy and my plan is to build a quieter life in a country that has longer summers than Belgium with a strong preference for Spain. I am sure that Workaway can contribute to this. Of course I want to take thoughtful steps with the necessary sense of reality because at the end of the day we all need our money.
I am sociable, empathetic, helpful, honest and conscientious. I have a dry sense of humor.
I am a chef by training and besides vegetarian/vegan cooking, writing songs and collecting vinyl is a passion of mine. To keep fit I go jogging and I like walks in nature. Nature brings me peace just like listening to fine jazz.
I'm a hard worker and always willing to learn new things as wel as to share my know-how with others.
My personal points of attention. Watch out with not getting into too stressed situations, I had a burn out in 2014 and so I have to pay a little attention to find a good work/life balance.
I like to drink a good local beer, listen to people with progressive ideas, try to play a little guitar and I would like to go diving again.Interests

Their garden is fantastic, too bad about the lack of rain so we couldn't plant more. Still, I learned a lot about permaculture, thanks in part to Gary, the 'regular' volunteer. Gary is very sociable… read more
