Description
We are a couple (Daina from Latvia and Ameer from Palestine) that is willing to learn and explore the world, to understand it better day by day. Workaway seems like a perfect way how not just travel, but to help the local community in return and maybe give something as well, whether that's an experience or knowledge. If you need some help and find us to fit your needs, we'll be very grateful. We're not afraid to get our hands dirty!
Daina has already done Workaway in Portugal and Scottland and loves to learn about traditional dances, baking, gardening and just about anything in sight.
Ameer loves to cook and freestyle in the kitchen. He enjoys helping in the garden, doing BBQs, trying out different crafts and
In the free time we prefer all kinds of sports and if the weather and time allows, going for hikes, sleeping in a tent, cooking outside. Also a lot of time is spent in our tiny garden (25m2).
We're open to anything new and unknown, and in exchange would love to tell, show or teach about our cultures and cook something tasty. Some board or card games are always a nice idea :). Looking forward to hearing from you.

Daina: I've grown up growing vegetables, so I'm very familiar with gardening. I like to cook not just main meals, but a lot of sweet things as well.
AlAmeer: we used to have many horses in our farm, I know how to take care of them, how to ride them. I can do general maintenance around house.
We both have been raised working with hands around the house outdoors. As well as taking care/baby sitting little brothers or nieces.

What else ...
We've discovered that playing Geocaching is a great way to experience more of the unknown in new areas, so if you're interested, we can surely do it together and show how to play this game.
Also - nature is full of amazing materials, so the trick is know how to use them - we like to gather herbal tea, use the right plants in recipes, go mushroom picking etc.
