Hi mates!! I am Damiano, a 25-year-old Italian backpacker hungry for life!

After graduating in International and Political Sciences in Italy and embracing a gap year (two, actually) around the world, I rooted myself in Trento (still Italy) for a new studying experience in Data Science. Even if this new life chapter led me to a world full of math and programming, I love meeting new people and sharing as many smiles and stories as I can.

I am a nature lover, always eager to be in touch with nature and explore new areas. Probably the ten years spent participating in scout activities forged my passion for the outdoors and the thrill of new experiences, such as hiking and discovering hidden trails.

I have had volunteering experience, both national and international, which has enriched my life with diverse perspectives and a deep appreciation for community service.

I have a passion for languages and am currently learning French, eager to add another language to my repertoire and connect with even more people around the world.

I thrive on interacting with new people and love chatting, whether it's sharing travel stories, discussing cultural differences, or simply enjoying a good conversation.

Yes, i am! I consider it the best part of traveling: helping each other and improving how skills. I can say to be fluent in Italian (obv) and English, so do not worries for that. I would try to strengthen my spanish and why not, give french a shoot.

Coming from the countryside I have always been used to working in the fields and getting my hands dirty. I played rugby for 10 years and during the last two and a half, I was a professional one ( from 16-19 years old).
I worked as a handyman, delivery guy, and assistant chef at a couple of pizzerias.
I was an educator for the Italian scouts association for children from 8 to 17 years.
I have done several volunteer activities in centers for the disabled and rehab communities.
During the last summer, I have been traveling volunteering, workawaying, and working mainly in farms or eco-villages. I am open to any activity since i am taking some time for myself and to discover myself. I really like to live with the hosting family (sharing my experiences and listening to yours) but also to have time to explore the areas around and do my stuff.
