Hi,
My name is Courtney, Taiwanese and 46 by age.
I used to work as international sales person and buyer in B2B and B2C companies for over 15 years. For the past few years I've been longing for a life transformation and expecting to have adventures and explore more possibilities of myself.
I've just finished my first year of being a graduate student in Psychology in Taiwan and would like to have a gap year for myself before graduation. I am hoping to experience different cultures in a deeper sense, to live like the locals and to learn how they would be thinking, and if possible to acquire skills such as planting, cooking, winery, etc.
I am mature, independent, easy-going, honest and trustworthy person. I enjoy music, reading and walking in a forest or by the beach, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine would make my day.

I can teach Chinese-traditional and also some Chinese-simplified as I worked and lived in Shenzhen China for 4 years. I can also teach English to non-natives. I am interested in learning Italian, French, Spanish, Germany but not limited to them.

I know many little things but wouldn't say I am skillful with any of them. However I'm a really good and fast learner, and quite adaptive and flexible to new things.
I speak proficient English and was an English teacher for kindergarten and school kids for 3 years when just graduated from University (2 decades ago). I have a certificate in teaching Chinese as second language, but unfrotunately I have never really taught anyone officailly besides some basic conversation to my ex-foreign-coworkers.
I am single and have no experience in parenting, but I always get along very well with my friends' children maybe it's because I always treat them as friends and listen to them carefully and sincerely.
I am a wwoofer and curretly volunteering in organic farms in Korean (it will be 2 months then by September), which means I can do a little gardening and farming, and I wouldn't mind to learn more.
Last but not least, I am good at numbers, thanks to my previous jobs as sales person and buyer.

I also love traveling and always enjoy deep conversations with others.
I had experience helping in a luxrious guest house in Taiwan and a village-owned retreat in Namhae, Korea.
I'd been volunteering in life line as supporting consultant for 3 years and also helping in a few organic farms in Korea for tomatoe/pumkin havest and weeding.
