Hello, my name is Cody. I'm a native Californian, presently living in San Francisco. I manage a summer day camp for children ages 6 - 11 years old, and I plan to travel during the off season. My background is in education and recreation and I love spending time with youngsters, animals, and people of all ages. I enjoy exploring nature as well as cities and I hope to find some work exchange that will allow me to share my exisiting skills while learning new things.

I love to cook! I am an omnivore and I can cook for as few as two and as many as 40 people. I'm famous among my friends and family for my sandwiches, casseroles, soups, stews, pasta, sauces, chili, and salads.
I am fit and I love exercise. I have taught martial arts, beginner circus arts, yoga, and cardio classes, but my favorite way to get excercise is by exploring trails.
I'm educated in Classics with a degree from UC Berkeley. I hold two year degrees in Earth Science, Mathematics, and Language Arts. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience, mostly in math and science, but I studied Greek and want to learn and teach more language arts. I am looking into getting a certificate to teach English abroad.
I'm tidy and clean and I don't mind that being part of my work assignment.
I have a clean driving record and I am good at driving in cities as well as on winding mountain roads. I have driven as part of my job before, with a passenger endorcement commerial license and ability to drive commercial vehicles.
I've lived in the high country, cities, foothills, and rural areas, and I adapt well to change and enjoy working outdoors: gardening, landscaping, building trails, you name it!
I'm great with domestic animals, with experience caring for pets, chickens, and ducks and I am open to learning the care of all sorts of farm animals.Age

What else ...
I'm looking to meet people while I travel and to fully immerse myself in the culture. A good way to do that would be to help with families--children, elderly, special needs, you name it. I'm a people person.
