Description

Hi, I'm Christopher and I'm a 22-years-old Italian boy. Son of a Cuban mother and an Italian father, I'm a person extremely open to diversity and with a great ability to adapt. I have been traveling since I was 16, having my first one-year intercultural exchange experience in Perù. I then continued to travel for leisure and one year ago I returned from a one-year experience in Burgos, Spain, where thanks to the Erasmus+ programm I was able to spend a year at university. I graduated in Political Science and International Relations and in one month I'll start a MA degree in Human Rights. My friends define me as an enterprising, empathetic and mature person. I have always worked in the countryside because in my family we run an olive oil mill for the production of extra virgin olive oil and we have properties with orchards. In my adolescence after school I cultivated my personal vegetable garden, the home garden and for a long time I had various farm animals such as chickens and rabbits. In my life I have been a DJ for years and now I am passionate about trekking and nature activities. In addition I like walking, dancing Cuban salsa, I'm passionate about politics and rights in general and I like sharing experiences and getting to know new realities and cultures. I'm a very open-minded person (I'm part of the LGBTQAI+ community) and my friends call me the gentle giant because I'm really tall and very affectionate. I am a precise and orderly person and I like to get involved in new activities. I recently did 15 days of harvesting near Lyon, in France, and it was an experience that enriched my wealth of experiences. Between my skills, I also learn very quickly. I have been spending the lasts 4 months in Brighton (UK) studying english.

In general, if i receive the right indications I'm a very fast learner. Probably one of my skills is that I'm a tall and strong person, but I also have other skills not necessary related to my body. I like gardening and countryside activities, I can handle farm animals and after my last workaway experience I'm able to renovate old walls, to build a small pond, and to chop sticks. I like cooking and languages. I have a primary education in Tourism and I have a degree in International Relations so I can deal with tourists or costumers in different lenguages. I harvested and gathered fruit. I work every year, in the winter, as a worker in the family business where we produce olive oil. I can drive the car and the tractor. I have good physical strength and endurance. I am very active and dynamic. I follow directions with precision and attention. I am very resourceful and respectful. I think I'd be able to deal with childrends as well.

What else ...

I like music in general because I've been a DJ for many years. I like all genres but mainly I listen to Cuban salsa and rumba (which I can dance at an amateur level) and electronic music (techno and tech house). I really like cooking and trekking. I enjoy spending quality time with people and getting to know them. I like to help others and make myself useful as much as I can. I love emotional connections with people.
