Description
I've just taken the big step away from the lifetime career path. It's a bit early for me to retire and I certainly don't feel my age....most people think I'm 10 years younger. I have an accountancy qualification and have worked in project management so if you need someone to look at spreadsheets and business processes, I'd be happy to review.
I'm looking for fulfilment rather than tourism. In this past I've taken 2 career breaks. I was a conservation volunteer in a remote part of Madagascar and travelled South America for 6 months, including two long term TEFAL placements.
I'm independent but l enjoy spending time with like minded and interesting people.

I worked in Finance as an Accountant for 30 years but I'm much more interesting than that!!!

I was a Scout Leader. I love gardening and have a good knowledge of growing fruit and vegetables ( my father taught me how to prune fruit trees). I'm relaxed with most animals, and they seem to like me.
I have good English and a TEFAL qualification.
Having owned my own home for many years, l can apply myself to most basic DIY tasks too.
I'm quite peaceful and love yoga, Pilates and my singing bowl.
I am also trained in reflexology.

I had a short but amazing time with Holly and Adam. They are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the birds that they work with. This was my first Workaway and it was an excellent experience. The work was varied and interesting. Chris is very easy to talk with and there is so much to do that it's easy find something interesting, necessary and within your ability. I learnt lots too.

Christine was a very helpful workawayer. Her gardening skills were in tune with my philosophy for the garden. She was competely trustworthy and we had no qualms at all leaving in the house or garden when we were both absent. i would reccomend her without question.
