During my off-time from work, I want to practice my Spanish and German, doing either hostel/hotel work, non-profit animal work, or simply enjoying nature while getting some work done.
Description
Hey everyone,
I am hoping to spend my January praticing my Español, so I'm heading to Spain.
I'm a fairly relaxed and motivated guy from Denmark, I enjoy doing physical or social work as part of my days, happily mixing the two for the best effect.
I've got an interest in Spanish because of my an exchange-student sister from Mexíco having taught me a lot, a friend from Argentina (mi pendejo favorito) also motivating me to get to know the language.
I love outdoor work and the weather doesn't bother me, as a soldier I'm used to working in rainy weather. My job has me driving earth-moving machines, coordinating with my colleagues when constructing temporary bridges and delivering material.
I've had experience working hostels during another workaway with my best friend in Australia, checking people in, cleaning, maintenace of the hotel, etc.
If you've got hard work, pleasant surroundings and you're fluid in Spanish then I'm your guy, I'm not great at construction but I know tools and I'm ready to give it my all. I'm unfortunately a little picky, but I'm happy to cook to make it as small a problem as possible. I'm very Scandinavian in that regard.Interests

Because of my rather short stay, I'm unlikely to find a chance for a travel/language buddy, but hey, who knows. I'm easy going, happy to spend time being social and I'm not easily annoyed. I'm pretty good with a map and what not, and I'm glad to pull over and ask where I am.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I'm a soldier used to working outside in wind and weather, and I enjoy doing so.
My practical skills as a result of this and other work experiences are physical work, some simple cooking, coordination and initiative.
I'm very interested in practicing my Spanish, and I'm generally quite good at languages.
Cleaning and housework is something I'm okay at, both from having lived in several apartments/houses and having worked in a hostel in Australia as a workaway'er.
I'm good at using bandages and dealing with injuries, though I hope this won't be super relevant during my workaway stay.Age
30
What else ...
A short and sweet stay in January where I can learn Spanish is all I ask.
