Hello! My name is Elodie, and I’m travelling the world for a year with my husband Chris and our two kids: our son Benjamin (age 12) and our daughter Eleanor (age 8). Our home base is in Canada, near Ottawa.

We’re on the road as “worldschoolers” to spend more time together as a family, expand our children’s understanding of the beautiful diversity of this world, and learn everything we can about the places we visit.

We’d love to contribute to local businesses, schools and projects as a family whenever possible.

We’re native speakers of English and French, and love helping people practice these languages.

Professionally, I’m a certified coach and small business owner who loves to support people in growing their confidence, removing inner blockages and reaching their goals.

I also spent 17 years working in communications (marketing), fundraising, organizational leadership and governmental policy. I’m a good listener and team player with strong organizational skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.

I’m happy to contribute any of my skills to help our work away hosts!

Hello! My name is Chris and I’m travelling the world for a year with my wife Elodie and our two kids: our son Benjamin (age 12) and our daughter Eleanor (age 8).

I’m originally from Halifax but out home base is in Canada, near Ottawa.

I’m a native speaker of English, and also speak French. I’m always happy to help people practice these languages.

Professionally, I now manage a team for the Canadian federal government, and have previous experience as a travel agent. I’m hardworking, reliable, and I’m a great team player manager who loves to support others to perform their best.
