Hello!

We are Chez and Victor, heading to Africa in August to November. We’ve joined Workaway to be able to connect with others and experience new cultures from a more local perspective. We are both super into surfing, hiking, diving and camping and love nature and the outdoors. We are hoping to spend some of time in Africa getting to know the local people, culture and language, and give back some of out time to helping others.

A bit more about us:

Chez - I love working with people and work as a speech therapist. I love learning and teaching languages and am passionate about helping others communicate. I have lots of experience in the hospitality industry and enjoy customer service and have worked overseas in hostels through Workaway before. I also enjoy gardening and getting hands on with DIY projects/painting. I play piano and enjoy listening and playing music and would love to share this with others too.

Victor - I am a motorcycle and aircraft technician and also am into DIY projects and gardening. I like to go mountain biking and skating in my free time and am pretty much always up for learning something new! I have some experience in CAD drafting if that would be helpful.

We speak English as our first language however Chez speaks Spanish and some Indonesian, and Vic can speak some French. Chez is learning Swahili and would love to practice with others and learn some more!
