Hi everyone! :)
I’m Charlotte, 18 years old, and from Germany. After graduating, I decided to take a gap year - finally giving me the time to volunteer abroad :)
Right now, I work full-time as a server (both in a restaurant and a pub), volunteer weekly, and tutor students in private lessons.
I’m known for my love for animals and will stop for any that cross my path ;) I love reading their body language to understand them better and find much joy in patiently bonding with them.
I care deeply about animal rights and helping those in need, which is why I started researching the food industry, veganism, and the changes needed in policy.
I love traveling and getting to know new cultures - I've been lucky enough to visit many different countries already :)
I’d also say I’m quite adaptable - I don’t need much to be happy. I’m hardworking, not afraid to get my hands dirty, and always eager to learn new things while contributing with the skills I already have.
Through this Workaway experience, I hope to broaden my horizons and improve my English or Spanish :)Interests

More details about your skills
As for my experience with animals: I’ve had cats, worked as a dog sitter, and have five years of horseback riding experience. During an internship with a riding therapist for children and adolescents, I cleaned stables daily, groomed horses, and prepared them for therapy sessions. I also worked with children with disabilities, played games with them, and accompanied them during therapy.
Waitressing has definitely taught me many things, but primarily stress resistance and multi tasking ;) Generally, I always perform tasks with high attention to detail and try to be as efficient as possible. I’m also open to criticism and always willing to improve :)Age

Special dietary requirements
I'm vegetarian, but I have no problem being around meat eaters. I'm easygoing when it comes to food and don’t need a lot of variety - I’m happy with simple meals and can prepare my own if needed.
