Hey,
we are Caro and Julian, 30 and 31 years old and currently traveling around the world. About 1 1/2 years ago, we made the decision to leave Germany (for the time being) and to get to know the world with time and in our own way.
We have been a couple for over three years and met at the airport. We have been living together in a shared apartment in Cologne for two years.

We gave notice of our shared apartment and aim to travel for 14 months (maybe more, who knows).

We've both always toyed with the idea of ​​going abroad for a longer period of time and discovering the world, but somehow we were always missing the last push.

We were together in northern Norway over New Year's Eve 2021 to visit Caro's sister and her boyfriend on a dog sled farm and to help with the upcoming work on site. After a short but intense ten days, we started our return flight and we made our decision while we were still on the plane. We were just thrilled and fascinated by the experiences we were able to gain. Taking care of the more than 120 dogs, advising them to pull the sled, cleaning the small huts, feeding them, all this in a different climatic environment than we are used to (-25 degrees Celsius) and, by the way, we were able to admire the beauty of nature in Northern Norway. Indescribable.
we were sure that we also want to travel, get to know new cultures, other people, experience work that we don't know from home, experience nature and bring about good things.
A bit of planning, clarifying that with your employer, giving notice of your apartment and off you go. So here we are, on the journey where we hopefully have the time to experience all of the things we dream about that will (potentially) make us better people and change the way we see the world.

We let ourselves drift and enjoy being out and about in the world without time stress and are ready for everything.
