Hi y'all! I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and have moved back here after college to pursue my portrait painting career. It has been great to be home but I am looking to experience other cultures, people, and art before I am ready to find a new place to call home.

I have Scottish heritage but have never been, and am really excited to explore local communities through workaway and learn more about my family's history. My travel goals are to make many new friends, engage in any and all local cultural events, and travel as widely as possible on the weekends for hiking and horseback riding. I have studied abroad in Tanzania, India, and Italy and can't wait to add more countries to the list and solo travel for an extended period for the first time.

I studied painting and art history at the University of Georgia, and love teaching painting with new friends. My favorite hobbies are reading a good historical fiction book and telling stories around a campfire. I am a bubbly and talkative person, but am very respectful of others' private space and time if you need a break from my voice!

Because of my studio art background, I am comfortable with hands-on woodworking projects, some carpentry, painting (both indoor and outdoor and murals), and can figure out most any household maintenance tasks. I was a camp counselor for four years in the north Georgia mountains and have experience river rafting, boating, rock climbing, and managing 15-40 teenagers.
I don't have the green thumb my Mom has, but I love working outside in the dirt and can follow directions with the best of them. Same thing goes for cooking - I'm from the south so we usually throw fresh vegetables in a pan and make some sort of good meal out of it!
