Hey there,
I'm Carlotta, 29 years old, from Leipzig, Germany.
After living and studying abroad for several years in my early 20's, I moved to Leipzig, my former hometown, to settle down and start working as a psychologist.
In the last two years, I have been working with refugees, a job that I loved, but that ultimately stressed me out. In January 2025, I will finally leave the job, so now I am planning to travel around for some weeks in february/march.
I love animals - since I was little I used to help out at a small horse stable, taking care of the animals and the stables. Some years ago, I did a 6-months volunteer service at a horse farm in spain, learning about horse assisted therapy.
Besides, I am really interested in gardening, building and eco projects. In 2020, I assisted in a 3-weeks group volunteering program at a permaculture community in Estonia, which was a really enriching experience.
As I am a really social person and I love to be and live in community, I would like to find a project where I can live and work in a group. Living with locals and staying in one place, is my favourite way of getting to know a new place, instead of moving around from place to place, wanting to see every possible sight. That is why, I chose workaway as a way to travel and spend my free time :)
