  • Description

Hi! We're Carlos and Adrian. We're 20 years old and we study Psychology in Granada´s University. We're very fond of meeting new people and new cultures. We think we all can learn together by sharing experiences and getting out from the comfort zone. We aim at helping everyone who is looking some asistance and that´s why we consider the option of being a Workawayer as one of the best ways.

  • More details about your skills

We have some experience in volunteering and make a good team.
Carlos: At first, every Saturday I volunteer in a social lunchroom. I appreciate so much being part of the project. I enhanced skills related to the cooperation, all of us know what we have to do in every moment. And even in the more stressful days I try not to be surpassed by the circumstances and show my best smile. As well as that I volunteer in an Association against youth cancer. It brings me the opportunity of being aware about what things are in your hand. I don´t know about nursery or medicine and that sometimes makes me helpless but, in the end, I realize I can do my best using my heart as one of the powerful tools I have. I also have experience teaching Spanish. This last semester I have been a counselor for students from the United States. I have guided them through my city, I have taught them my culture and my language. It has been an enriching experience that has helped me acquire more teaching skills and better dealing with people.

Adrián: I’ve been volunteering in many associations for years, with adults and children. First of all, I was for two years in a local volunteering helping people that suffer mental issues and then, one year helping children with TDAH and autism by planning inclusive toys. About learning, I don't have many experience, but I have good level at english and french. I also loves literature, i read a lot novels and also write mine, so i also have a good level in spanish. I want to help people and this is an amazing oportunity to do it.

  • What else ...

Carlos: Usually, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and having a great time. Also, I´m fond of calisthenics, I love that sport. When I´m indoors I like reading, listening to new music and trying to explore new type of dishes and foods. Cooking has become a new hobby and every time I can, I go to the kitchen and look for new tastes.

Adrián: I have a lot of hobbies and i dont have time for all of them. I like to read, play videogames, do sport, write, origami.... but my favorite its music, i've been playing violin since i was 10. About dishes, i dont like cauliflower and broccoli, but i love to cook in my free times and when i can.
