Je m'appelle Camille, j'ai 34 ans et je vis à Lyon avec ma compagne.
J'ai fait des études de philosophie à la Sorbonne, puis j'ai vécu dans différentes villes en France et fait plein de petits boulos, avant de reprendre une formation d'édition et d'être embauchée dans ma ville natale comme éditrice scientifique en sciences humaines et sociales.
Après trois année de salariat, j'ai décidé de devenir indépendante et de consacrer une partie de mon temps libre à l'associatif. Je préside depuis 1 an une association d'archives et de bibliothèque LGBT, avec laquelle nous organisons des expositions, des rencontres en librairie et mille autres projets pour valoriser les cultures et les savoirs minoritaires.
Même si cette existence est plus précaire financièrement, je suis bien plus épanouie. J'ai le temps de vivre des expériences significatives, et j'ai énormément de gratitude pour cela. J'apprends la céramique, je passe du temps dans la nature, je prends du temps pour moi et pour les personnes que j'aime. C'est précieux !

My name is Camille, I'm 34 and I live in Lyon with my partner.
I studied philosophy at the Sorbonne, then lived in different towns in France and did lots of odd jobs, before training to be a publisher and getting a job in my home town as a scientific editor in the humanities and social sciences.
After three years as a salaried employee, I decided to become self-employed and devote some of my free time to voluntary work. For the past 1 year I've been chairing an LGBT archive and library association, with which we organise exhibitions, bookshop meetings and a thousand other projects to promote minority cultures and knowledges.
Even if this existence is more precarious financially, I am much more fulfilled. I have the time to have meaningful experiences, and I'm enormously grateful for that. I learn ceramics, I spend time in nature, I take time for myself and for the people I love. It's so precious!
