My passion no matter what I am doing is to positively contribute to underprivileged populations while promoting mental and physical health. I am organized, efficient and detail-oriented. My recent roles have focused on continuous improvement and customer experience; however, I am a quick learner and willing to put in hard work to get any job done.

I recently graduated with a bachelor of science in Mental Health Counseling to pursue becoming a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I'm currently motivated to explore traveling options mainly to force myself out of my comfort zone. I am looking forward to multiple months of travel during my gap year before I pursue my Master's degree next fall in 2023.

My passions include the ANYTHING outdoors, creating art, aerial dancing, and practicing yoga. I am an avid reader of various topics and often enjoy listening to differing viewpoints to help inform my own. I am a compassionate individual always seeking opportunities to learn about new cultures and connect with others!

What else ...

This is going to be my first solo trip ever. I understand that it may seem like a risk to pick me as your Workawayer, and it honestly might be. I am scared to leave my comfort zone, but that is what makes me excited! I may not have the skills that you are looking for but I am more than willing and able to learn. I have been wanting to travel and immerse myself in different cultures than my own for years. The pandemic shifted my priorities but this year I am following my dreams.
