Hi, I’m Calan 👋 .
Me and my partner Tia have joined Workaway to do what we love - travel, explore new parts of the planet and immerse ourselves in different cultures and communities! We have always liked to go on holidays but we don’t just want to be tourists, we want to really experience different parts of the globe, doing some local work and meeting some amazing people along the way! We’re enthusiastic and hard working and have a passion for travel, new experiences (and cuisine!). So far, we’ve been to the US, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary and Portugal and we’re hoping to add many more destinations to this list!

Outside of travelling we love to spend time outdoors. We love being around animals and we enjoy being creative. Tia loves to paint, draw and design whereas I enjoy more manual creative experiences. We both enjoy cooking and are always seeking out new recipes. We can often be found socialising with friends over dinner and a glass of wine!

As well as cooking and more manual skills, I am great with technology and am always happy to support with that where I can. Tia enjoys working with animals and gardening and is good with a sewing machine! We would really like to pick up some different languages during our travels and make some great connections 😊
