Holaaa a todxs! Tengo 27 años y soy de Galway, en el oeste de Irlanda. Lo que más felicidad me da en la vida son las relaciones humanas. Siempre he sido una aventurera, y soy más feliz cuando estoy en un país nuevo, viajando y conociendo gente nueva. Crecí en el campo, en Irlanda, y a pesar de la belleza de la Isla Esmeralda, siempre quise ampliar mis horizontes y conocer gente de todo el mundo. Al haber estudiado español, España siempre fue un país que me llamó la atención. Una vez que me gradué, me mudé a la vibrante ciudad de Barcelona y he vivido alla durante 5 años. Después de formar amistades para toda la vida y explorar el país, empecé a sentirme como en Irlanda y decidí dar el gran salto a Argentina, donde llevo 4 meses viajando por el país. Estoy muy emocionada y entusiasmada por ver qué más tiene que ofrecer Sudamérica.

Lo que más me apasiona ahora en mis viajes es aprender. Me encantan los retos y soy una persona muy adaptable. No me gusta sentirme estancada, y que no me estoy desarrollando como persona, por eso estoy realmente lista para embarcarme en mi viaje de Workaway y crecer y aprender más sobre diferentes culturas, y sobre mí misma! Aunque no he usado Workaway antes, he estado usando Couchsurfing mientras viajaba por Argentina. Me ha encantado conocer gente local y he intentado sumergirme en la cultura tanto como me ha sido posible.

Making human connections brings me the most happiness in life. I have always been an adventurer, and I am happiest when I am in a new country, travelling and meeting new people. I grew up in the countryside in Ireland, and despite the beauty of the Emerald Isle, I was always looking to expand my horizons and meet people from all over the world. Having studied Spanish, Spain was always a country that called my attention. Once I graduated, I moved to the crazy, vibrant city of Barcelona and have lived there for 5 years. After forming friendships for life and exploring the country, I began to feel as I did in Ireland, and decided to make the big move to Argentina, where I have been travelling around the country for 4 months now. I am extremely excited and enthusiastic to see what else South America has to offer.

What I am passionate about doing now on my travels is learning. I love a challenge and I am a very adaptable person. I don't like feeling stagnant, and that I am not developing as a person, that is why I am really ready to embark on my workaway journey and grow and learn more about different cultures, and myself! Whilst I haven't used Workaway before, I have been using Couchsurfing whilst travelling in Argentina. I have left the link here so you can have a look at my reviews :) This has really helped me leave my comfort zone and gave me the impetus to try Workaway. I have really loved meeting locals and I have tried to immerse myself in the culture as much as possible.

En primer lugar, hablo español con fluidez, y soy de Irlanda, por lo que soy hablante nativa de inglés.

He estado trabajando mucho de mi vida, así que eso me ha dado un montón de habilidades. Trabajé en un hotel así que tengo experiencia trabajando como camarera. Después, trabajé en una tienda de ropa, y eso me dio mucha experiencia en atención al cliente, limpieza y mantenimiento general de una tienda. Después de eso, trabajé como profesora de inglés con niños. Por eso, tengo experiencia trabajando con niños y enseñando un idioma. Y más recientemente, he estado trabajando en un call centre durante 2 años, así que estoy super cómodo ayudando a los clientes a resolver problemas, escuchar a los demás, mantener un estado de ánimo tranquilo en situaciones de estrés, y sobre todo, ser una persona amable y sonriente :)

First of all, I am fluent in Spanish, and I am from Ireland so I am a native English speaker.

I have been working a lot of my life, so that has given me a lot of skills. I worked in a hotel so I have experience working as a waitress. Then, I worked in a clothing store, and that gave me a lot of experience in customer service, cleaning, and general store maintenance. After that, I worked as an English teacher with children. I have experience working with children and teaching a language. And more recently, I've been working in a call center for 2 years, so I'm super comfortable helping customers solve problems, listen to others, keep a calm mood in stressful situations, and above all, be a friendly and smiling person :)
