  • Description

My current path is leading me to living a more meditative lifestyle which I'm hoping to forever make progress. To have enough inner peace and contentment so I can just be instead of chasing endless external desires. I love workaway for the ability to be able to give back to the places I'm fortunate enough to visit. Instead of just travelling to tick off bucket list items, it's nice to contribute in whatever way is needed at each particular place. My hope is to the learn skills and knowledge to have my own off grid paradise one day. Or join in on a like minded community that's already established. To return to my roots if living simply.

I wouldn't consider myself an expert in one particular field and more a jack of all trades. I've worked on high rise construction projects doing painting, installing windows and basic carpentry. Would definitely be keen to learn to build log homes or tiny homes. I enjoy growing my own veggies and this year tried hugoculture for the first time. Would also love to try aquaponics and learn much more about growing seasonally and companion planting. I'm very into living with the seasons and keen to learn hunting and living off what nature provides. Also would love to learn about plants and the millions of ways they can help us in terms of food, medicine, materials and so on.

My hobby for the last year or so has been learning to produce electronic music. I'm hoping to get deeper into this complex topic so any workaway I participate in it would be a bonus to have access to a little electricity. Enough to power a laptop and keyboard, but this is not an essential need.

I enjoy hard and physical labour and known to keep going without breaks when I have a task to get done. I get into the flow state quite easily and consistently lose track of time.

Mostly I am ever evolving, learning and growing. To think how far I've come just in the last ten years it's almost unimaginable where or how I could be in ten years from now.
