Description
We are currently living in Northern BC, Canada and love to explore nature and the outdoors. Sam recently graduated from biomedical sciences and plays the banjo. He grew up on a farm and feels at home in quiet, peaceful settings that are shared with animals. He has spent some time overseas but is hoping to gain a deeper sense of European cultures. Brooke is an environmental engineer, and is driven by a curiosity to learn more about the world. She has so many goals but mostly wants to learn to slow down and appreciate simple living. Both of us enjoy working on projects and spending time with people and animals.

We are hoping to embark on a journey in 2025 throughout Western Europe and the UK.

Being raised on a farm, Sam has quite a lot of experience: handling animals (including cows, chickens, dogs, cats, sheep, and horses), maintaining vehicles, gardening, and completing a variety of other yardwork tasks. Sam is also an excellent cook.

Brooke enjoys volunteering to help troubled youths and coaching sports. She has a passion for sustainable living and working outdoors whenever possible. She loves working with equipment and is currently rebuilding a refrigerator from the 1950s.

Sam is a huge board game nerd! He is very enthusiastic about his Magic the Gathering card collection. He has introduced Brooke to so many cool games that they play together. Brooke has more social hobbies and enjoys frequenting new breweries and live music venues. They both are truly happy when enjoying outdoor hobbies though, including: skiing, hiking, canoeing, golfing, cycling, swimming, and running.
