Hello!

My name is Brianne Nix. I was born and raised in Louisiana, USA (in the south of the US). I came to Spain as a dance and English teacher. Dance is my passion and I love sharing the joy of dance with those around me. I've trained my whole life in classical ballet, went to university to study ballet and modern dance, but fell in love with Latin American social dancing in my final years at university. I love learning new languages, helping others learn English, and experiencing new cultures, traditions, and foods.

Me llamo Brianne Nix. Nací y crecí en Louisiana, EE. UU. (en el sur de los EE. UU.). Vine a España como profesora de baile e inglés. El baile es mi pasión y me encanta compartir la alegría de la danza con quienes me rodean. He entrenado toda mi vida en ballet clásico, fui a la universidad para estudiar ballet y danza moderna, pero me enamoré del baile social latinoamericano en mis últimos años en la universidad. Me encanta aprender nuevos idiomas, ayudar a otros a aprender inglés, y experimentar nuevas culturas, tradiciones y comidas.

I have a Bachelors degree in English and Dance. I have over 7 years of experience teaching English as a second language to Spanish speakers. I've also taught in daycares to children from 3-14 years old. I like to adapt to how my students learn best, whether that be through games, songs, reading, etc. I also teach dance (salsa, bachata, ballet, and modern) and would love to share that passion with families if they are interested. I love being outdoors hiking, camping, and exploring nature.

I love game nights. I personally love playing Uno, Monopoly, and Yahtzee. I love playing sports (football, football americano, baseball, basketball, etc.). Reading is also a hobby of mine when I'm not dancing. I love just spending time with people in community.
