Description

You want someone who's responsible yet lighthearted, diligent yet fun, who communicates clearly and calmly with no drama, and who is honest, trustworthy, flexible, clean and tidy. Well, that's me! Since retiring as a legal secretary in California over 5 years ago, I've been a Perpetual Traveler, mostly in SE Asia, living out of one suitcase and a daypack, usually sleeping in women's dorms, interacting respectfully with many different cultures while sharing smiles. I'm quite fit because I like to exercise twice a day, and I'm double vaccinated and boosted twice. I don't smoke, I drink maybe one beer a month, and generally don't eat red meat (except the odd piece of bacon or slice of pepperoni pizza); also quite happy with all-veggie fare, as I was a strict vegetarian for decades. I'm quiet and a bit of an introvert, so I'm happy working alone but also like collaborating in teams. I enjoy playing cards and board games, laughter, good conversation and bad puns. Currently, I'm writing a book 3-4 hours a day, which easily fits around your schedule. I'm easygoing and content with life.

My favorite part of gardening is pulling weeds and trimming/pruning. I have painted many rooms and fences for friends and enjoy art projects. I bake artisan bread, cook a mean stir fry and make a nice dinner salad, but that's about the extent of my cooking. I was a legal secretary for 45 years, so I can help you with computer work or documents (I'm very good at editing). I love cats and am good with most small animals, as well as comfortable with horses and goats. I'm game to learn anything you need help with, as long as it's not super heavy or crazy loud.

I prefer stays of at least a month to 2 months, because getting from place to place is the most expensive part of traveling.
