Hi, my name's Andy/Brandy and I'm a former chef, current boiler engineer/plumber-handyperson from Bristol, UK and currently looking for my first Workaway!

I enjoy making things, fixing things and learning new skills when I get the chance. As well as construction/DIY and cooking, I've worked on my family's farm in Somerset operating machinery and doing various outdoor jobs in the fields.

I like to be kept busy and have a sense of purpose when I can - anything manual or practical that I can get stuck into is perfect. I'm a community activist, and I've got plenty of experience putting on events/parties - anything from dinner parties and pop-ups to field parties and festivals. I love culture - music, food, architecture, fashion, you name it! The opportunity to be in a new place, meet new people and work towards accomplishing a shared goal is ideal for me.
