Hi!

We are a Dutch couple traveling through Europe in our self converted campervan for a year.
We were not happy with our city life, office jobs and during the covid pandemic decided to change course. We bought a semi converted van, built in some quality of life improvements such as a solar panel & battery pack, fridge and more storage space.
While we are traveling we like to keep busy and extend our holiday by using workaway. We are now travelling through France.


About Bram:
I'm 30 years old, studied Architectural Engineering in Amsterdam and worked at architectural offices aswell as with contracters. I make technical drawings, designing building systems and building models. Mostly focused on building restoration and transformation by using contemporary building methods. I've done side projects with a friend designing and building natural swimming pools, fencing, pergolas and treedecks.
Would love to learn more about building techniques in other climates / countries.
I've always liked to DIY, re-use materials for another purpose and figuring out / solving problems. I have experience with carpentry, electricity, woodcutting, painting and gardening. Also I like to cook and try new recipes, mountainbiking and hiking. Generally like to be outside and working with my hands.
We both love to joke around and have a good sense of humor but are very presise and serious about our work.

About Fauve:
I'm 32 years old. I've studied fashion but figured out it's wasn't the field I wanted to be working in. I worked for 10 years in the hospitality branch mostly as a assistant
manager or manager. In 2017 I looked for something else and took a chance working in human resources, and did volunteer work in elderly homes.
I’m great with people, kids and dogs. I love hiking, taking care of our dog Pablo and being outside. The covid pandemic really hit hard with me since we lived in a very small apartment in Amsterdam and both worked from home.
I don't have much experience with building or carpentry as Bram does, but I like to help him out where I can and we make a good team. I'm good with sewing, painting, gardening and I'm a hard worker and quick learner. My dream job would be owning and maintaining our own farm or bed and breakfast with lots of dogs, people and other animals.

We both speak English and Dutch, Bram also knows a bit French and German.

About Pablo:
Last but not least, our dog Pablo is traveling with us. He is a 2 year old male dachshund. He's well trained and gets along with every person and other animals.
