Hey there :) I am Blanca from Hamburg Germany. I am about to finish my studies in food science and after my bachelor thesis I am ready to see and travel the world a bit more before I settle down in a work life.
My parents were the ones who introduced me into traveling the world from a very young age and showed me the beauty of meeting new people and cultures from all around the world. When I became older and started to pack my own tent and traveled a lot with friends or by myself as well. I would describe myself as a very fun and laid back person. I love working in a community and always take my tasks very seriously without losing a smile. I am able to pick up new tasks very quick and support others very good as well.
I can't wait to meet new people and make new experiences in new countries and cultures during my workaway!

During my studies I worked a lot in bars and restaurants, so I am very good in customer service.
I am also a very handy and creative person. Every year I work at different festivals and help building stages and other facilities, as well as doing decorations like painting or creating stuff.
At university I worked as a tutor, so teaching and helping others is also one of my great strengths.

In my free time I am very into working out, like marathon and triathlon training, but also going to the gym or playing tennis or soccer. I love any kind of sport and moving together with other people.
Mindfulness, meditation and yoga and reading also play a big part of my life.
