As a child I grew up on an organic avocado and kiwifruit farm. I worked there for many years as adult managing the day to day operations and overseeing projects. Throughout the course of those years I learnt how to manage people and work alongside them, plan, prepare and undertake work task, I spent hundreds of hours operating various machinery and made many repairs to broken/damaged implement. As a result I learnt many skills including;
-welding
-basic mechanics (diesel)
-machine operator (tractor, cherry picker, dozer, excavator, chainsaw and many farm implements)
-wood and metal work
-roofing
-kiwifruit pruning
-packing shed experience
-handling livestock
-managing people
