We are Ben and Anneke, a couple from Australia (Ben) and the Netherlands (Anneke). We actually met on a workaway in Morocco back in 2018! We travelled together for a while afterwards, fell in love and have been together ever since! We lived in Amsterdam for the last four years, but decided to give life in Australia a try too!
We moved to Australia because we want to be and work outdoors more, learn about living in a more sustainable way and to experience new adventures away from a computer! (Mostly - we don't mind computers all the time :) ).
We both enjoy hiking, cycling, cooking and reading. Anneke is also into dancing and yoga, Ben also plays a little piano.

Anneke is an anthropologist and has been working as a teacher, debate leader and project organizer for several NGO's and schools in the Netherlands. She's great with people and children, a problem solver with both a practical and analytical mindset and a lot of enthousiasm. She is great at organizing, making sure things run smoothly and not afraid to change plans if it doesn't. Not afraid to get her hands dirty and an eager learner with a passion to improve our environment.

Ben's a technical architect and also a passive house consultant. He's worked in several (international) offices in both Australia and the Netherlands, making technical architectural drawings for a diverse range of projects. He's specificly interested in sustainable building and has therefore recently completed a passive house design course. Ben's a very open, sociable guy with great design and building skills. He's very precise and patient when it comes to architecture, but generally just a great guy to have around :)

We built our own campervan together, so we'd dare say we're a good team with more-than-basic building skills between the two of us :)

We have our own self-converted campervan that we'd like to stay in.

Our dream is to one day own a plot of land and maybe build a homestead for ourselves - this trip we'd love to learn more about different lifestyles to see what would maybe one day suit us.
