Description

Hello! My name is Bella and I am twenty years old. I am a young and hard-working person looking for life experiences and am ready to help in any way needed. I am determined, smart, adventurous, creative, and quieter at times. I love meeting new people and enjoying what life has to offer.

Ever since I have turned eighteen, I have been moving around quite a bit. At eighteen, I graduated high-school one semester early and then flew to Thessaloniki, Greece where I did my first volunteer experience at a dog shelter for seven weeks. I met amazing people there and gained a completely new perspective on the world.

Back in the US, I completed a two-year associates degree in marketing at a local community college. I knew that I wanted to finish my bachelors degree, so I decided to go Athens, Greece to finish my studies (and where I currently study). But I have always loved volunteering and traveling during the time when I was not in school or at work. So, on top of the dog shelter, I have volunteered at an animal rescue in Costa Rica, I have volunteered as a beach cleaner in Norway, and I have volunteered for an environmental organization in Italy.

I am very passionate about the environment and aim to spend my time in valuable ways to help fight the climate crisis. At my school, I participate in food initiates where we go to the local farmers market and collect left over food and then donate it to those who need it. I have also visited a local cat shelter in Athens where I have taken photos of the cats for their adoptions.

I am interested in photography and have my own camera that I take pictures with. I also enjoy writing, reading, astronomy, hiking, and running. I am really curious about so many things in the world and I feel that traveling is one way to feed my curiosity and gain new ideas.
