Hello!

I'm Carlos, a young man travelling and volunteering with my dog Oreo for 15 months now.
My mission is to support and empower people through education. I'm always happy to learn and share knowledge across a wide variety of fields.

I hold a degree in Business Management, studied nutrition and have completed several courses in various fields. Additionally, I have experience as a military officer.
I have already worked in construction fields (machine operator), small bricklaying and carpentry. I already worked as a hotel receptionist and manager.

For the past 5 years, I've had the opportunity to be part of a lot of projects. Each experience has brought something new. I've been involved in language education, sharing knowledge in informal settings and learning a lot through cultural exchanges.
I've supported hosts with organizational tasks, including some interior design and creative projects, along with more hands-on work like construction (carpentry, general maintenance) and gardening. I've also worked professionally in several areas in different countries, with different functions, purposes and people.

In my previous volunteering experiences (through this and other platforms), I dealt a lot with wood, building sheds, compost toilets, chicken houses and log stores, or even cutting trees and chopping wood, mostly independently and alone.
I also dealt with gardening, food planting, irrigation systems, landscaping, home maintenance, automation, marketing and teaching and entertaining children.
I would LOVE to improve my cooking skills. I love to eat healthy food and my background allows me to share some knowledge about it, although I don't have that much experience cooking, I would be happy to learn about different cuisines and cooking :)

I’ve spent a few months teaching rugby to different groups of kids, an experience that taught me the joy of working with young learners. I’m also passionate about technology and its transformative power.

I'm travelling and volunteering for about 15 months (and counting) with my mixed Brittany/Pointer, Oreo. He’s young, energetic, and loves to run around with kids and other dogs.
He’s well trained, doesn't bark or present harm to objects or other animals. He loves to play and run after anything that moves, but only does when I allow.
