I am 28yo explorer from Lithuania! :)
I joined Workaway in 2017, and since then, I can't imagine a better way to immerse myself in new destinations and connect with people. I’ve done 7 Workaway experiences, and I’m so grateful for every host who welcomed me, every lesson and skill I’ve learned, and the lifelong friendships I’ve built. Throughout these experiences, I’ve mostly helped with reception work, general maintenance, DIY projects, tours, and etc. I really enjoy learning new skills and taking on different tasks, as I’m always looking for ways to grow and develop. I’m versatile and happy to discuss various ways I can contribute.
I also see myself as a reflection of Lithuanians and my country—we’re known for being hardworking. By this, I mean I’m not afraid of work and understand that this platform is about exchange. I take my tasks seriously and always give my best, as long as it’s a fair exchange. As someone who’s partly extroverted, I thrive in friendly, kind, and honest company, and I feel happiest when I’m active and surrounded by nature.
In addition to my Workaway experiences, I’ve been working in digital advertising and marketing (social media, content creation, media buying, and photography) since 2020. Recently, I made a career change and now I sometimes take some freelance work in technology field.
I like to say that kindness, open-mindedness, and gratitude are my three favourite companions on this journey. I love smiling at others and my main aim is to see the world through the lens of local people, which is why I’m always looking for ways to connect with local communities. I love learning from the people I meet, their stories, and experiences.
I’m most excited about exchanging knowledge, ideas, and lifestyles. I’m always ready to learn new things and improve in any way I can. I love taking part in activities, meeting people, dancing, laughing, cooking, exploring, creating, and building.

1. I've volunteered in a couple of hostels in the past so I am very familiar with reception work, events, general maintenance, and cooking.
2. I am very interested in gaining more skills and getting better at renovation, building, DYI, and carpentry work.
3. For the last two years, I've been working in digital advertising and marketing field, therefore, I can help with all things marketing - social media, content, media buying, photography, etc. :)
4. I have an extensive working experience as a waitress in bars and restaurants, so I am really into smiling, making conversations, and ensuring that every guest would have a wonderful time.
