I'm currently traveling in Paraguay and hope to eventually make my way to Patagonia through Argentina. Hope to do some volunteering and maybe hitchhiking along the way!
Description
I'm a 26 years old guy from the north of the Netherlands. After my studies in environmental sciences and sustainable entrepreneurship, and a couple of years of working in a start-up, I decided to switch it up and go on an adventure. Having been a tourist doing touristy stuff I'm now hoping WorkAway can provide me with a more authentic experience.
I'm by no means a 'handy guy'. However I have done my fair share of gardening and renovations. My parents always needed help in the garden (cutting trees, building sheds, carrying and laying stones and general maintenance) and I've spend a summer working as a gardener for the elderly in my village. I also helped during the renovation of my childhood home and helped several friends with their new houses by laying floors and painting walls and roofs. I think I've got some basic skills and I like the work.
I speak fluent Dutch, Inglish and Frisian, a little bit of German and I'm currently trying to learn Spanish
