Hi everyone ! I’m Anne-Marie and brand new in the community of Workaway ! I would describe myself as an intellectual and an artist; History, and art history too, had always fascinated me and influence my way to see life and represent it. Outdoors activities, camping, exploring new regions drive each of my steps into a new way to live that I want to give myself. I usually travel alone, went on many roadtrips and sometimes on organized trips with a group, but I’d like to try a different kind of experience. Why not being useful to a community, spend some time to feel a place and its people and traveling all together ?
If you read this far I would be very happy ! I’m from Quebec, Canada, the french-speaking province surrounded by english culture. One of my main goals is to improve my English skills and discovering all of its subtleties and accents around the globe. And acquiring new skills that could be helpful in my personal life as well as for next hosts in Workaway !

One of my main goals in my life for now is to improve my english. I began to learn in school early, but I discover that I will be faster, more efficient and SO MUCH more rewarding to learn in an english environment. I can read well, but my writing and speaking skills need practice !

I possess various manual abilities that I developped at school and with my father around the house. I can work with some tools such as a drill, an electric saw, a wood splitter... I can also help with mecanic around a car, but only few easy things for now. I painted many appartments for my friends and helped them by fixing easy things that recquired meticulousness. I have an artistic eye as well, to paint, fix, assemble small objects is easy for me. I'm also a seamstress by profession ! Holes in a sweater, too long pants, name it, I can help you with that. Having experience in customer service I can do my best to guide or help customers in english, and elderly people too. I can do gardening, house cleaning or a shelter for pets, anything easy that you want me to do ! ;)
