¡Hola!
My name is Ayoze, I'm from the Canary Islands, Spain.
For several years I worked as a filmmaker and photographer, participating in different projects such as shortfilms and videoclips, until I decided to change my life and start a career at sea. I studied at a nautical school with the aim of obtaining the skipper certification. I did a short internship on a tugboat and then I embarked for half a year as a deck cadet on a historical ship that serves both as a training ship and as a museum ship. During those 6 months, we carried out a tour through the Mediterranean Sea first and then through the northern Europe (UK, France, Belgium and Netherlands). After that, I worked for a time in a ferry in the Baleares.
A few years ago I did a Workaway voluntering in Italy, and it was such a wonderful experience that I always wanted to repeat, however, for several reasons, it couldn't been done until this time.
I have experience customer services jobs, such as reception, sales and tours. I am also used to sharing workspaces and working within multicultural groups.
I am an easygoing person, in my free time I like to go out to explore new places, workout, attend cultural events or simply sit to read a book. I love languages and I'm always looking for the chance of speaking then in real life scenarios.

• Reception - check-in/out, reservations, sales, information, answer the phone...
• Video & Photography – If you have a business or store, do some kind of craftwork, have a band or any other kind of project and want to reinforce its presence through photos or videos, I would really enjoy helping you. I love working on anything that involves image and creativity.
• Computers & Technology – I’ve some knowledge and experience with computers, new technologies, Internet and Social Media (RRSS).
• Languages – Spanish and English are my main languages, but I also speak French and Italian. So, I can communicate with tourists and/or help you to practice languages.
• Maintenance & Fixing – Not really a pro handyman at all, but I’m very into on the DIY culture; if anything could be repaired or made by your own instead of throwing it away and/or shopping it, I just find the way.
