I'm involved in eco-tourism and I'm currently looking for an internship to work as a volunteer in an environmental protection organisation to help out during my time in Australia.

Description

My name is Aurore BOUTET, I'm 20 years old and I've just finished a two-year higher education course specializing in the local development of services in rural areas. This course took place at school, but I was also employed part-time as an apprentice in an administrative structure. My role in this public company was linked to the subjects of sustainable food, prevention of food waste and local food consumption, as well as supporting people involved in the agricultural professions in my area.
In this school context, I did a 3-week work placement in Malta last year, at the end of my first year of training, on a local organic farm. And now I have a new European mobility project.

I'd like to find a placement as a volunteer/trainee with an environmental organisation, for a period of 8 months, in Australia. I'd like to get involved in an organisation working in the environmental protection sector in the broadest sense (fauna, flora).

My new project is to go on a mobility trip, to discover this magnificent country that Australia can be. By getting involved in an association that promotes environmental values that are close to my heart, I hope to discover the country in an authentic way by working directly with native people who are invested in their country.

This new experience will complement my professional goal in France, which is to become a globetrotter and work in eco-tourism in the future. I want to learn as much as I can about the culture and richness of spirit that the inhabitants of this planet have to offer. I hope to become rich in knowledge and understanding of all the customs that exist. And on each of my road trips, I want to discover countries through their flora and fauna, to avoid getting too close to the more human side of these countries.

My level of English is not perfect, but I have a fairly good command of the basics of this language, and I hope to improve before coming.
I have a very good command of video editing and of helping people to promote local short circuits. Thanks to my training, I know how to run meetings, manage groups (of children or adults) and put on events for them. I've also always enjoyed creating courses or Escape Games on various subjects.
As far as my personality at work is concerned, I'm an organized, independent person and I'm serious about the tasks I'm given. I also enjoy working as part of a team.
As far as everyday life is concerned (at work but also in life in general), I'm a very sociable person, I like meeting new people and learning from them about their way of life.
