Hello, I am Asmaa (Esmé), a vibrant blend of Italian & Moroccan cultures with a passion for exploration and connecting with people.

I love to challenge myself with new experiences. In mostly every situation I'll find something positive, using also my problem solving attitude.
Over the past decade, I've embraced a nomadic lifestyle, intertwining my love for travel with my dedication as project manager, also experimenting entrepreneurship life in Senegal where I lived for more then 4 years.

I've been working as project manager in the International Cooperation field that gave me the opportunity to live in different countries: Italy, Egypt, Belgium, Palestine, Senegal, Ireland and Morocco focusing my efforts on many topics as sustainable agriculture, communication, sustainable tourism, social entrepreneurship, children's and women's rights. I’m actually studying Low Code and European Union project management.

After three years working in Morocco in the social entrepreneurship sector I decided to take a break and start the experience I've always dreamed about: discovering Asia slowly, meeting people and new cultures. Searching for simplicity, nature and try to go out from my comfort zone, also sharing my knowledge as much as possible.

I've spent 8 months around Southeast Asia and now I would like to spend a few months in Europe, specially in Spain to learn the language and get deeply in contact with the local culture and traditions. I've already had 4 great workaway experiences, in England (babysitting), in Ireland (where I worked in a hostel helping with cleaning, cooking and reception) , in Spain (mostly helping with gardening) and in Malaysia (supporting people from around the world to discover the city).

Fluent in Italian, French, Moroccan Arabic, with a good English, and conversant in Wolof, I welcome any opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow. I eagerly anticipate the prospect of connecting with fellow enthusiasts, exchanging stories, and embarking on new adventures together.

Very important aspects: I will accept to share experiences just with people that are not racists, show respect and are really interested in sharing experiences and knowledge. I'm not looking for a place to stay but to get in contact with local communities, to learn, share and have a positive impact together.

I used to work in different places and I'm learning very quick. I like cooking and baking very much.
Usually my daily work in the last 3 years consisted of managing a team of 20 people, writing projects, monitoring and evaluating projects, searching for new partnerships, organising event, organising conferences and participing to national and international meetings.
I used to work also as a communication manager, updating information, managing posts on social networks and writing articles about ICT & Agriculture. I also did some volunteer work as a tour guide in the sustainable tourism.
In my life I tried different jobs (as waitress in restaurants, I was cooking during events, organising cultural events). So I'm used to work for what I want and I'm ready to share my competences and to learn something new. Yeahh!
I have a passion for baking and I love cooking Italian, Moroccan and international food!

Resume tasks: cooking, cleaning and welcoming people/reception, laundry, making beds, childcare, farming and gardening. Teaching and organising artistic activities for children. Organising cultural events, updating information, managing posts on social networks as well.

I am very interested in tourism, sustainable agriculture, art, history, anthropology.
