Description
Hi, my name is Anya and I am 34 years old. A person who is calm, cheerful, relaxed and a huge nature lover. I like animals, food, books, travelling and being outside.

Fortunately for a second time I got the chance travelling around for a few months again.
In 2016 I went on my first long-term journey after study and fullfilled my dream visiting New Zealand and Canada where I also volunteered on cattle and bison farms and helped with housekeeping. I felt in love with NewZealand and it was obviously to come back one day :)

So this time I am going to stay six months abroad, starting in Italy, going to New Zealand and ending up in Australia. During my stay I would like to meet people, learn about new cultures and skills by volunteering. Also I am very interested in improving my English skills.
I look forward to this opportunity to make great experiences and become directly acquainted with people and their culture.

In Germany I am employee of a pharmaceutical company that produces disinfectants for health institutions . I work there in a laboratory, more precisely in quality control.
In my free time I love to enjoy time with my parents, friends and my boyfriend Timon. Also going for a swim or hike, reading good books and trying new restaurants in my hometown Hamburg.

I am a trained pharmacian technician and chemical engineer.

During my last workaway experiences I did:
Cooking, gardening, animal care, housekeeping, cleaning up, painting works

I have worked in a pharmacy and laboratory (quality assurance) for years and worked in a restaurant next my studies. Beside my main work I helped out in a retirement home, where my grandparents stayed.
In my family we also had pets: a cat, rabbits and birds. I love to take care for people and animals.
So I would say, as a very conscientious and tidy person, clearing and cleaning skills are my superpower😃

I can help around the house and garden, cooking, animal care, looking after guests, catering and service.

You could not ask to meet lovelier people! Isobel and Bernie are a wonderful couple: relaxed, funny, generous and chatty.

They welcomed me warmly and I really felt like staying with family, I loved it.

Anya stayed with us for a week and we totally enjoyed her entire stay. She is a cheerful & happy person, who works hard; with a great attitude & enthusiasm. She was chatty & funny.
