Hello! We are Anthony and Fiona (Ant and Fi), we are a couple from the UK. We have been in New Zealand since January on working holiday visas, living in our campervan and exploring this beautiful country! Prior to moving to New Zealand we lived in London for 5 years, Ant working in Product Design and Fi working in Communications in the TV/Broadcasting sector. We both got a bit tired of corporate life and wanted to do something totally different and enjoy a slower pace of life and so far we have absolutely loved our time here. We’ve developed a passion for hiking, tramping and just getting out there and exploring!

We are both very social and friendly, plus very clean and tidy and respectful of others space. Ant is a keen cyclist, avid home baker and loves to do things with dough, while Fi is a film and music buff and a big reader. We are both animal lovers so the more the merrier! We are also big foodies and love to cook, this is something we are more than happy to share with others.

We are looking for a workaway to develop and share our existing skills and immerse ourselves more in Kiwi life. We would also love to learn new skills, meet new people and take something away from our time in New Zealand.

We have both spent the last 5 years working in professional roles in London. Ant as a product designer at a creative consultancy and Fi worked in communications, firstly in the charity sector and then the TV/broadcasting industry.

Ant has a Master degree in Product design, which forms a great understanding of how things work. Because of this he’s always tinkering and making things, both digitally and with his hands. Fi graduated with a film and television degree, and spent time volunteering and then working for non-profit organisations. We both love learning and experiencing new things.

Through previous workaways we have experience in looking after pets and gardening- including weeding, making new beds, pruning and planting.
