Description
Hi
Thanks for reading our profile!
We are Annie & Paul, a married couple from the UK who have decided to take a “delayed” gap year (or maybe 2) to travel the world and fully immerse ourselves in different cultures through volunteering and work exchange programmes.
We have both spent over 16 years working for a large global medical company in a variety of roles including managing small teams, but feel it is time to find a more satisfying way of life and sense of purpose.
We love helping people and are ready to tackle any task with enthusiasm. We both have quite a lot of experience in gardening projects (our own and for charity projects) and love to be surrounded by nature and animals.
Our hobbies & passions;
Paul – travel, sport / football, running, the natural world, birdwatching
Annie – travel, gardening, the natural world, walking / hiking and music (both playing and listening)
We are both open, honest, hardworking, energetic, and friendly individuals with an easy-going attitude who can take instructions, pick-up new tasks quickly and give 100%! We are conscientious, punctual and responsible and will treat your home with the utmost respect.
Our Ethos: Life is short – travel broadens the mind, enriches the soul and offers the unique opportunity to connect with people from many different cultures.
We are slightly more mature in years than the average workawayer but this brings much more life experience. We are open to work exchanges from any country and any type of work; from gardening and farm-work to teaching English.
Thanks for reading, we look forward to hearing from you.Interests
