    Travelling

  • Description

My favourite thing in the world is to collect memories! Therefore I am pretty much up to anything that can be one. My super power is to make everything an adventure of fun. I'm very easy going and open minded towards all activities and people. I have lived with a lot of different people during different circumstances and are strangely adaptable to everything, except enjoying breakfast (I still try though).

Right now I'm on a break before starting a new office job while taking my third online course in creative writing while I'm working on another book (good wi-fi is sadly a must). To be honest my life plan just had a turn of events so I am a little bit heartbroken and lost at the moment (but still fun, I promise).

My backpack is ready for the airport and I am currently up for an adventure anywhere in the world (as long as the weather is warm) before I have to return to a snowy Sweden for christmas. I haven't figured out where to go yet so I hope the right people will lead me to the right place :)

I have travelled a lot and been away for many longer trips. Central and South America (three times), Asia (four times), Europe (a lot) and North America (three times). Sometimes I'm travelling for work and sometimes with friends. Sometimes I travel alone but I have figured that even when I leave the country alone I end up making so many friends along the way so you could hardly call it to travel alone. Except for that one time when I went to a silent retreat in India, that was pretty lonely.

I have an education and long time professional background as a project manager for big events, music festivals and concerts. I have also worked as a chef, with hospitality, construction, teacher, bar, hotel and administration in hospitals. I am a fast learner with a positive attitude that never gives up.

My hobbies while travelling is meeting people, surfing, diving, reading, writing, hikes and yoga. I love to have a full day of discovering new cultures and areas but are also satisfied to have days where I just read a book or two.

I eat everything (zero allergies and food preferences) and I am a much better morning person when I have had coffee.

  • More details about your skills

My best skill is probably my attitude, give me a task and I will do everything to exceed your expectations.

I have worked as a professional project manager (I actually like excel, masterplans and to do lists) and during my ten years in the business I also planned and took part in the built and logistics for all of the projects I've been head of. Festivals in the desert, distant islands with temporary glamping, concerts on mountain peaks, you name it. I have also been in charge of lot of social media for big events and companies and manage the basics of editing, apps and programs. But I also cleaned toilets, welcomed the audience, drove the tour van, carried the equipment, sorted the trash and so on. I'm definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty.

In my earlier years I worked as a chef all over Sweden, bartender, at hotels and as a nanny in London (I'm nowadays the fun auntie to four and godmother of two of my friends kids). I grew up with pets, outdoorsy parents, a huge garden in a small village in the north of Sweden where a lot is sustainable. I'm almost embarrassed of how old I was when I realized that certain types of food is not home grown for everyone and that some people don't recycle.

I have also worked as a teacher for kids aged 7-13 and teacher in Swedish for refugees which I absolutley loved (but are not educated as).
